Invest 96L became the fourth tropical storm of the season. Tropical Storm Danny is entering the states of Georgia and South Carolina this afternoon.
We continue to monitor a strong tropical wave that is to the east of the Caribbean. This disturbance (Invest 95L) maintains a medium probability of development during the next 5 days. According to the forecast, it should arrive in the Caribbean next Wednesday. During Thursday and Friday it would pass to the south or over Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
Another strong tropical wave could find favorable conditions for development as it moves west. This unrest could threaten regions of Trinidad & Tobago and northern Venezuela.
