Testing 12,000 antiviral proteins
In this video we take you inside the lab at the UW Institute for Protein Design. Our scientists are hard at work testing their first round of computer-designed coronavirus binding proteins.
The experiments in this video are the same ones we'll soon be conducting on the first batch of Foldit player Coronavirus Puzzle solutions.
Foldit is FREE and not-for-profit: https://fold.it/

This video features IPD scientist Longxing Cao, PhD. It was produced by Ian Haydon.
Note: Foldit is an interactive computer game and not a distributed computing project. If you would like to donate spare CPU cycles to science, please check out the Rosetta@Home project on BOINC at https://boinc.bakerlab.org/
