Man Climbs on Whale’s Back to Rescue It From Net
A California man risked his life by jumping into the ocean to save a massive humpback whale that was caught in a net. Humpback whales can grow to weigh 40 tons, making Sam Synstelien’s actions extremely risky. The commercial fisherman jumped into the water and then climbed onto the back of the whale while his friends rooted for him from the boat. Inside Edition spoke to Nicholas Taron who was steering the boat while filming the dramatic rescue.
